Stressed Because of the Internet!

My new
companion, Hermana Rumualdo.
Walking home.
Companion and Sundaes!
So, right now I am super stressed out. Where I am now, Tupiza, is a
small town, not a big city like Cochabamba. Because of this, the
internet here is terrible. I have been waiting for over an hour just to be
able to get into my email account. So, I probably will not have a lot
of time to respond to emails this week, because we only have an hour
and a half to write. So, I am really sorry! Also, I can´t send
pictures. So you won´t be able to seem my cute little face this week.
Also, very sorry. (She finally was able to send pictures!)

This week I went to Sucre to pick up my new companion, and I LOVE her.
She is from Lima, Peru, has 10 months in the mission, and has only
been a member of the church for about 2 years. She really is great. Of
all the Latin American sisters I have ever met, her personality is
most like someone from the United States. She is really fun and
actually understands sarcasm. I am really excited she is my companion.
Also, she is a REALLY good missionary. I thought I was doing pretty
well, but I see how hard and well she works, and I´m like "What have I
been doing this whole time?" I am really excited to learn from her and
become a better missionary.

This week we met a lady named S., who has a 10 year old son named
C.. In the last year, she has lost her grandma, her husband, and
her 10 month old daughter. We were able to teach her the plan of
salvation, and talk about how she will be able to see them all again
in Heaven. It was really the most powerful lesson I´ve been in in my
whole mission. She said she felt so happy and relieved to  know that
she would be able to see them again.

It really is amazing the people we are able to encounter here. People
who are truly in need of the gospel in their life, and are prepared to
listen to us. There are some people who try to argue with us, or don´t
want to talk to us, or say weird things to us. But then, there are
people who are so humble and grateful to hear God´s plan through us.

I am so grateful to be here in the mission. ALSO, this weekend is
General Conference! Everyone has the opportunity to hear the words of
our living prophet, Thomas S. Monson. You can watch the sessions on
lds.org , I am pretty sure. And if you live in Ohio, I think the
sessions are at 12 and 4 on Saturday and Sunday. But you can ask my
mom to be sure! And you can probably go watch it at my house with my
family if you want! haha.

I hope everyone takes advantage of this great opportunity, and I hope
everyone has a great week!

People here like OSU!

They added 2 Hermanas in our area!
